Our Story

TA·ZA was born from a shared way of living.

We are a couple who believe deeply in living with purpose and intention, not only on the easy days, but especially on the difficult ones. Married for over 20 years and still counting, we are partners in life, parents to two incredible boys, and lifelong dreamers who believe that meaningful things are built patiently together.

We were both born and raised in Colombia, surrounded by rich landscapes, strong traditions, and a culture where coffee is more than a drink, it’s part of everyday life. Over time, life led us to the United States, a country we are grateful to call home as dual citizens. Living between cultures shaped how we see the world: with curiosity, respect, and a deep appreciation for connection.

Travel has always been part of who we are. Wherever we go, we seek experiences that allow us to immerse ourselves in local culture, and coffee is often the doorway. We’ve spent time walking coffee farms, watching mules carry freshly harvested sacks through mountain paths, and witnessing firsthand the care, effort, and patience behind every bean. We know the feeling of a quiet sunrise in the mountains, the cool air, the warmth of a freshly brewed cup, and the clarity that comes from a moment lived fully and intentionally.

Those moments stayed with us.

TA·ZA began as an intentional decision, a pause to ask ourselves how we could turn our passion for coffee and our way of living into something we could share with others. From the beginning, the goal was never just to sell coffee. It was to convey a belief: that coffee can be a catalyst for living with purpose, for starting each day with intention and clarity, and for creating meaningful moments in the middle of everyday life.

TA·ZA is an extension of who we are, our roots, our journey, our values, and our desire to connect. It’s an invitation to slow down, to be present, and to treat even the smallest rituals with care.
